Educational Qualification: Matriculate and three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engg. recognised by AICTE with 60% marks in aggregate.
Age: Born between 01 Feb 91 to 31 Jan 95. (Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).
How to apply: Applications will be accepted 'Online only' from 03 Sep to 17 Sep 12. To do so, the candidates need to log in to the Website www.joincoastguard.org.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, PET, Interview and Medical Examination
Physical Fitness Test: The Physical Fitness Test will be conducted for all those who pass the written test. The PFT will consist as under:
1.6 Km running to be completed in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
10 Pushups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.
